Bono's life is an open book, and he uses that status toward good ends, from speaking out against the Irish civil war to supporting humanitarian relief to Africa.

Ronan, are we having another civil war? Jesus, I go away for one week...

Although Bono seems to be indifferent to publicity and living in the spotlight, he recognizes the power which his celebrity has and uses it to both glorify God and work for change regarding issues of great moral importance.

YES HE ACCEPTS HIS BURDEN AND OFFERS UP HIS SUFFERING TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

these guys must be smoking the opiate of the masses.

1. Depth. Many people have written music with depth and meaning. Bono's various song credits include a song written from the perspective of Judas Iscariot and one written from the perspective of a devil rock star.

I love Irish people and their madness about U2. I want to write a sitcom about people who grew up in that same tosser 80s generation as Sinead O'Connor, Bob Geldof, Bono etc etc, such hysterical bores, sadly the only thing about them they never bothered to make in any way remotely radical was their music!
