I've got a bachelors degree, but took a computer course at the local university and I am back on the Navy's mailing list.
The military recruiting tool I wonder about is the government's appearant subsidising of NASCAR. There is something like a half dozen teams sponsored by the various armed forces, not to mention all of the TV advertising. There is no way that marketing such as this is cost effective.
