Try it out... log in with your address and it allows you to use basically a tack & string approach on Google hybrid maps to measure the exact distance of your neighborhood runs. I found that my trip around Oakland's Lake Merritt, which I thought was 2.5 miles, is actually 3.2 miles! You start the route, and click on every leg and it automatically measures the distance. FUcking cool.
