i frequently develop irrational crushes on items of clothing that i must must must have, but then only wear for a week or two before deciding they look shit. most recent example: one of those t-shirts with the velcro letters that let you make up your own slogan.
anyway, usually i have no trouble finding these monstrosities, but right now i'm fixated on three things that i haven't been able to find anywhere (well, ok, in the two or three shops i've bothered looking in):
1) a pair of denim dungarees. this surely shouldn't be hard - weren't loads of teenage boys dressing like eminem a year or so ago?
2) an "enjoy cock" t-shirt that isn't in a tiny skinny girlie size. i mean i'm not exactly fat but i am 6ft tall... this one is particularly urgent + key.
3) an orange velour tracksuit of the kind sported by megaman on that jo wylie show. actually i doubt i'd actually buy one of these, but i'd quite like to try one on.
so, who can help me find these things (in london)?? bonus marks if you can suggest cheap shops so i don't waste too much of my money.
actually fuck it, suggest clothing shops full stop. i'm tired of just going round covent garden. are any of the markets worth checking out? brick lane?

I've always done that...I never learn. I was seized by a sudden
desire to buy a pair of expensive (though reduced) boots in the
Timberland sale the other day. Not sure if they're quite me now...
About the items you're looking for...how about Camden Town?

Toby, this is exactly why I always run into so many Londunners in New
York. I know a place on Elizabeth Street near Houston Street that has
your orange tracksuit visible in the shop window, for example. Then
again I always end up buying shoes in London.
