You're NOT GOING TO GO TO THE SHO-`OP? Instruction: Begin raising the voice interrogatively after FIRST word of sentence to get a real monotonous squeal going. Then, to be even more annoying, add an extra little syllable to the last word which is raised to an even higher pitch to really emphasize the point that this is a question. This is the polite version of asking a question, somehow. It sounds very annoying in long sentences put forth by high-pitched women asking things they damn well know the answer to already.
