I wish I could but alas I don't know where he lives these days. ;-)
But anyway I will be working. As I run a shop for my slave-driving mad parents, I can't really get out and on top of that I'm pregnant (read: I have to drag myself around). :-( I'm trying to make you feel less guilty here. ;-)
The last time I went to the (fantastic!) Culture Club they were wearing tight jeans and... Actually I think it's rather similar to what they wear in London. But I always found that Ghent has a really great attitude: it doesn't really matter if you're not wearing the right clothes. (Or maybe I just didn't care.)
Check out the webiste of Culture Club, you can find pix of people dressed up and ready to party. :-) http://www.cultureclub.be/ It's also one of the best clubs in the country, in my opinion. At one point they *claimed* it was one of the best clubs in the world. (Sure sign they were snorting something and it wasn't sugar.)
Otherwise I wouldn't really know what's *hip*/*hot* in Belgium. :-) If you like, email me off-line and I can ask a friend or two. I do know of Petrol but that's located in Antwerp. I haven't been there but friends tell me it's ace (and some even DJ there). :-)
