i love tv carnage. but this new one was the most intense one yet! there were moment of sheer hilarity like the others. but this one was so full of the most atrocious moments ever that it made you really hate life! i'm not sure if i'm amazed at how intense it is or if i just think the world is unredeemable.

is it two hours of the three's company / scat montage?

i really need to watch this soon. i just rewatched the first two and the first one is an absolute classic. the r kelly dvd is only slightly better.

Basically, the worst television in the world, conveniently edited into two completely surreal hours.

what is the editing like on the new dvd? i prefer it when he lets the material stand on its own. as the series progressed, it seemed like he was often trying to create some magic where there wasn't any and it didn't always work.

Should I be turned off by the Anne Heche, Dave Grohl and Gavin McInnes raves quotes on the site? Common sense says YES!

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Wednesday, 9 November 2005 00:37 (twenty years ago)

no no no, these videos are fucking brilliant. and yeah, the new one is disturbing, but not moreso than any of the others. "squirrel melts"? c'mon! buy them all!

the editing is the most slick and narrative that he's attempted thus far and i think it works the best as a single, uninterrupted thread. i think in the early ones he was limited by his technology (this is the late 90's) and now he's got final cut or whatever and is able to do pretty much anything he wants.

this is from only one viewing though, i'm having a get-together tomorrow night to watch it again with friends and herb.

he was definitely limited by technology ... maybe i just prefer that he focus on finding absurd moment instead of trying to create a moment through juxtaposition/editing. still classic, despite what daddino's common sense says.

not al quotes on the site are turn offs:

"Who are you and why did you send this to me?"
- Kelly Clarkson

NOW I UNDERSTAND.

Is it really free?!

Only if you believe that the cost of media and duplication adds up to $25 (ie: no).
