I'm undecided on this. We're going to one with another couple of folk - no kids.

Traditional Christmas fun for all or the equivilant of reading Harry Potter on the train?

i worked as an urrsher in a theatre during my "uni" "vacs", and so had to watch, sometimes twice a day, the panto many times over a number of years. it starred christopher biggins. pantos knd ofn evolve and get better as the run goes on. the performers find out what works. it was still hell on earth though.

Aw, fun-haters. I love the panto. I'm taking my mum and dad this year. I hated the ones when I was a kid because places down south got proper celebs and we got non-celebs because Inverness isn't a vey celebby kind of place, and I would have loved to have seen, you know, someone. Even Christopher Biggins.

my sister did ballet, and our local theatre used the ballet school for some damn reason to fill in five-minute slots during the perf. it was pretty dire, iirc, but it meant she got to hang out with heartbreak high's alex dimitriadou (sp), et al.

one famous semi-middle-aged sitcom actor (from the '80s) turned out to have the cocaine habit of a young man.
