Since I first moved into this neighborhood, almost five years ago, and days after GWB got inaugurated (Feb 2001), this guy has been it with his "Wake Up America!" signs.. which got more shouty as the war began... I think he might be the same guy whose winnebago with all the "Veterans For Kerry" stickers is parked across the street off Westlake Ave. North.

Anyway, I saw this coming back from work today, and i made an about face. He never took it to.. um... this level before.

(I hope it gets its fifteen seconds on the Daily Show, at least.)

"Wake Up America!" has always been at the top there. it's just the bottom part that changes... which is what makes this sign even more bizarre... and TMI. But this is surely the most fun one he's done.. although I think he borrowed the idea from one of those fake church sign generator thingies.

Anyway, back to the $2.78... I think you could find someone in L.A. willing to do it (male, female, or neither). The issue is HOW do you get him/her/it to the White House to get the job done?
