Thinking your Bloke is an evil dwarf come to kill you, classic or dud?

I was watching telly last night and Bloke was in the hallway doing something with the phone lines to make our Sky box office work properly, and he shuffled into the sitting room on his knees and I saw him out of the corner of my eye and my brain's immediate reaction was EVIL DWARF COMING TO KILL YOU! and I let out a yelp and then realised it was really only him.

He thinks I'm mental. Has this kind of thing ever happened to YOU?

Waking someone up suddenly when they're dozing is always a bit dangerous. Depending on what they were dreaming about when they were woken, they can try and punch you because they think you're trying to kill them. This has happened to me more than once.
