Indeed. It's a combination of that historical resonance and the fact that it sounds like a featured rapper with Culture Beat / Snap / Technotronic or similar (probably someone in the US forces stationed in Germany who met up with some dance producer: they usually tended to be).

"Everyone in Dorset knows the story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs": have they interviewed the Linkin Park fans round here :) ?

Seriously I find it amusing that sites like that say "everyone" when they so clearly mean "most older people and a few younger people interested in history".
