There is no cushion for your farts to be absorbed. They just let it flow...

I didnt realize how many times a day one farts until I moved to this new office with these "nice" chairs. Well, i thought they were nice. Now not so much.

This thread should be in the thread hall of fame.

But the office mesh chairs don't make your back sweat as much, so the chair isn't permeated with such a mixture of bodily secretion and fart particles(known as "farticles" in certain scientific circles).

I have bad posture and my back rarely hits the back rest of the chair. And i work in a govt building with frigid A/C...so your argument holds no water. Psh.

Perhaps a thin cushion of coffee filters from the kitchen? You could change them twice a week or as needed.

yet my posture is worse, to the point where my lower spine curvature is more than it should be, and my back needs the support of leaning against this padded chair.

And you should enjoy your frigid A/C. In my own case, my protective layer of michigan blubber does not suit me in these pacific northwestern office climates.

The most common of these grossly overrated bungee-cord chairs is the Aeron. For its ridiculously inflated price, it's a pain in the ass to adjust and it's not very durable. The arms will loosen and over time the bungee-cord seating will lose its elasticity. If you work in an office with common places where you have to share chairs, it's even more of a pain.
