Editing mp3 Tags

Sometimes I find mp3s with a "play time" tag that doesn't match the actual track running time. Is there any way to edit the "play time" tag to the correct time? I've tried a few tag editing programs and they don't seem to deal with this field. Is it a fault in the mp3? Thanks for your help and your irrelevant but funny comments.

It isn't the tag, it is the vbr header. You need a program that can fix it. Since you didn't mention what OS you use, I have no idea, but if it is windows/linux you can use http://www.willwap.co.uk/Programs/vbrfix.php or else just search google for "repair mp3 vbr header" or something. Good luck.

Any of you guys use oink.me.uk?

If so, upload me some Quicksilver Messenger Service, pronto.
