Seventeen quid?! I mean, seventeen bloody quid after bitter bidding war? I thought I'd thrown it out but now I've realised that my copy is the heap of paper that's been under the wheels of my computer chair since about 8 hours after I bought it (yes, I know I'm a fool for buying it in the first place, I have excuses involving Friday lunch hour, boredom, a morning full of caffeine and an alcoholic lunch but I won't trouble you with them). It is of course a tattered mess with pages missing and a torn cover. WEEP. I wonder when Strokes Fever will be / was at its peak so I know when to sell the RARE L@@K DELETED UK debut Modern Age b/w Last Nite single no reserve!!!!!!!1 my mate Tom convinced me I should own in February before I went to see them live and decided that they weren't going to get any more money from me ever again.

I have to stop looking at ebay, or I'll buy thousands more cds and records I don't really want. I've never bought anything except cds, records and fanzines on there, though; all the music and computing gear seems to cost nearly as much as I could get it new for.
