Now, I am more confident, agressive, and dominant.

If you don't believe me, go out and test drive a full-sized American pickup truck. You'll understand what I mean.

385 horsepower, 12mpg.

Damn, it's good to be king!

two years pass...

Would it be grievously misguided of me to buy a pickup, rather than the Civics, Corollas, Saturns, Ford Focuses I've been test driving? Will this gas crisis thing just blow over?

kingkongvsgodzilla, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 10:12 (seventeen years ago)

Deep down inside I wanna be this guy:

You can pay for the extra gas with all the carpentry and landscaping side jobs you'll be able to pick up. Think of the earth. You don't ever see anybody planting trees out of the back of a Civic.

some Nissan dealership around here (and maybe a bunch of them nationwide?) is giving away a free Versa (tiny gas-sipping carlet) to anyone who buys a Titan (hulking full-sized pickup). maybe see if you can find that deal somewhere?

bernard snowy, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 13:01 (seventeen years ago)

lol at Americans who think a Versa is tiny.

Ned Trifle II, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 13:34 (seventeen years ago)

Dude, I'm buying a pickup truck just for that comment.

kingkongvsgodzilla, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 13:39 (seventeen years ago)

J0hn D., Wednesday, 30 July 2008 13:49 (seventeen years ago)

Why on earth does that thing (Versa) only get 3 mpg highway better than my poorly-maintained, 15-year-old, 4-door Maxima loaded down with all of my worldly possessions?
