I like double chocoloate, but I've had my eye on some other flavors.

i tried a pria bar and it was good but i can't help thinking it's loaded to the gills with sugar. i went through a major clif bar phase (oatmeal raisin and carrot cake, thanx) this past year.

meh. I prefer the clif bars. But I hear Luna bars are even better. Jody, can you buy some for me since you're a woman?

luna bars are for chicks who watch lifetime.

I kind of like the Snickers Marathon bar, but when you read the ingredients and nutritional content you realize it's basically an even less healthy version of a snickers with some multivitamin powder added.

i've always liked three musketeers' appeal to the weight-conscious: "we're the LEAST unhealthy candy bar!"

Ha -- sort of like when a generally unhealthy snack (candy, chips, etc.) advertises that it has "15% less fat then brand x". It's like, "Great, now I feel 15% less miserable about my life."

Pria bars (double chocolate and chocolate peanut butter) only have 110 calories. Clif bars have like 350, don't they?

Well, a low-calorie "energy bar" kind defeats the purpose, don't it?

Abbadabba Berman (Hurting), Wednesday, 30 November 2005 14:44 (twenty years ago)

exactly. calories -> burnable energy.

Not if your utilizing it for a 100 calorie SNACK, as you SHOULD BE rather than a MEAL. 3 meals and 2 snacks per day, friends, let's not forget!

sometimes you don't have time to eat (or you don't have "real" food around) and you just want to scarf something down so your glucose level doesn't plummet.

e.g. THE SNICKERS CAMPAIGN

sometimes you don't have time to eat

Inexcusable! Unjustifiable! Outrage! Etc.!
