i had labour canvass me today and basically the guy was happy with me saying "not too impressed with labour but definitely no voting tory". His main point was "Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling, ok fair enough - shrugs his shoulders -, but compared to David Cameron and George Osborne" - tilts head does you-know-what-i'm-saying face.
― DJ Get Up Kids (jim in glasgow), Thursday, 11 March 2010 22:08 (fifteen years ago)
i am fairly happy with the status quo tbh. prob the biggest disaster i can imagine is curbed drinking hours. but obv david cameron is the most embarrassing pandering leech of all time.
x-post labour called to my door a few weeks back and basically said to vote for them just in the case the bnp got in. tho in fairness to your dude, osborne is actually even worse than cameron, the way he chortles like a little demon imp while Cameron makes some lame jibe at PMQs is actually vile.

I have to (obv don't have to) vote Lib Dem because the only other party who might get in here is the Tories and I want to hang on to some delusion of minor differences
also the local LD MP seems sound, or at least the Daily Mail article about him makes me warm to him enormously:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-490815/Meet-Dr-Death-Lib-Dem-MP-Evan-Harris-backs-embryo-experiments-euthanasia-freer-abortions.html(in which they claim that a fairly middle-of-road dude is a radical ideological extremist for having a science background, and drag out Nadine Dorries to say he looks a bit funny or something)
