Advertising Scientology on the Discovery Channel is like advertising for wife beating on Lifetime!

This was on a thread @ Discovery.com once. Everytime I submit it, I get interesting remarks. I do tend to agree with the statement, and I often wonder why _Dianetics_ and other L.Ron Hubbard rubbish has ads on the station. And is it just me, or is every movie on Lifetime about women being abused?

It may that they hope "Ad on Discovery" = "Proven by Science," and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of viewers see it that way.
