"Fetish man cooked alive in rubber suit"

So... How do the police break this one to the family?

A MAN was found dead at his London flat after a bizarre solo sex session went wrong.

The 35-year-old’s body was discovered wrapped in a sado-masochistic rubber “body bag” by police after he failed to turn up at work.

After investigations revealed that the victim was known to have a background in S&M, officers decided the death was not suspicious but that he had died after taking a sexual game too far while alone at his Kennington home.

They believe the man had dressed up in the kind of head-to-toe latex suit commonly used in extreme bondage sessions, before climbing into a rubber cocoon and sealing himself in.

It is thought he became overheated and blacked out. The suffocating tightness of the outfit was so great he continued to overheat and, with nobody to release him, eventually died of swelling in his brain.

Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious, and an inquest will be held.

A Met source said: “The man was clothed in full S&M regalia. Officers’ first thought was foul play but all the evidence points to either suicide or a tragic accident.”

Latex bodybags and hoods are typically used in S&M sex and role-play, and their popularity on the fetish scene is growing. They are usually supplied with health warnings highlighting the danger of suffocation or overheating.

A source on the S&M scene said: “Some people will dismiss his death as one less pervert but I have no doubt that he was, like the rest of us, just a normal man who happened to like to experiment. It is very sad.”

well, as long as he managed to get in a tug as he breathed his last, he'll have died happy.

seems like the tidiest of ways to find a dead body, if you're inevitably going to find one someday.

That funeral will be fun, though!

"psst! granma, what happened?" "something to do with S & N, I believe."
"who are those guys wearing rubber over there?" "theatre company. he was into playing roles or something."

priest : "God doth not suffercate fools gladly, therefore we shall sing hymn 69786, I'm wrapped up in thine love, M'lord"

etc.

Oh, what songs should they be playing at the funeral? Anyone?
