i started a thread about zoloft and drinking earlier this week, but it appears that i have bigger problems now...

anyone have any experience with this? any remedies? or do i have to go off the meds to experience any sort of sexual pleasure ever again? (i don't want to go off them, im just starting to feel better)

i have read that zoloft has impotency rates of anywhere from 15% to 30%

I had the opposite situation… what's called 'yawning-orgasm syndrome' a.k.a. spontaneous orgasm a.k.a. 'hypersexuality' and in spite of how it sounds is more a curse than a blessing. At any rate, Zoloft-induced-lack-of-orgasm is pretty common, as far as I know. It's worth checking-out with whomever prescribed you the medicine, but I don't think it's necessarily guaranteed for as long as you're on the meds.

It'll pass after about 2-3 weeks, by the time you get used to your meds.

try effexor. this problem isnt severe and you have some chance of getting your brain chemistry straightened out. zoloft and prozac seem to be a lifetime ride.
