I need a quick answer about printing CD/DVD covers...

I downloaded a couple concerts off the internet (both audio and video) that come with homemade covers. Is there a program I can use to fit these so that when I print them off they'll fit perfectly into a DVD or CD case?

Easy in Illustrator (or something comparable). Just make a square for the front and 3 rectangles for the back -two sheets, Then paste the cover over the outlines and shrink (or expand) to fit.

hi how are you,

can you tell me of any experiences you have with printing cd sleeves or jackets?

i'm trying to figure out how to go about doing this. i know exactly what design i want. now i just need to know how to translate this design into reality.

thx in advance, apologies if a thread exists.

I had a 6-panel digipack made by discmakers (discmakers.com or something); they also pressed the cds. but I'm not sure that's the sort of thing you want to do; is this a commercial product or just some mix-cd thing? or some presentation thing?

oh and the design was done professionally by someone else, I didn't leave it to them, but they will do that for you if you want.

Usually if you find the company that will print them, they will have downloadable forms on their website, and it's a matter of just fitting your artwork into their form files.

But that's only if you want to do hundreds of prints at once. If you're self-releasing this, printing as you sell, then you can simply download a form and do it yourself. I'm sure google will reveal dozens of free applications that will do this.
