Will tomorrow be any better?

1100 Woke up, read from Morrissey and Marr: The Severed Alliance whilst eating breakfast
1130 Watched "British version" of Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train
1430 Met with friends, one of whom from out of town, for a quick drink at dodgy Mexican restaurant
1600 Washed and ironed clothes whilst listening to Junior Murvin's Police and Thieves, read from Mindfulness in Plain English, browsed ILX
2030 Went to Kopp's Frozen Custard with friend who is leaving the country for extended period of time
2100 Went to bar with four of closest friends (inc friend from above), watched football, chatted with bartender, had a fucking good time, said goodbyes

And not once did you get laid!

It's true, Kopp's is good. I have fond childhood memories of their fish sandwiches.

Still, it's a 7/10 day.

'Tis true. Can't miss what you've never had.

Yeah, but I've been suffering from a dearth of them for too long. It's not like I said today was the best day I could possibly experience.

Yep, not wanting things makes everything nicer sometimes. Today was pretty much more of the same goodness, except now I'm browsing ILX instead of getting pissed in the pubs with my friends. But I did run into a buddy today totally unexpectedly, so that was nice. And I saw Performance as my morning movie, which was better than watching Strangers on a Train. Oh, and I got my resumé mostly done, so I feel like I'm making progress and not just vegging out. Things are still looking up.
