RJM and I will be in town. Food and/or drinks, anyone? Also, any recommendations for New Year's eve music/festivities welcome.

We're staying on lower QA this time instead of scary Fed Way. Blue C? Thai Tom? Racha? Roti? Any and all sound good.

What time's good for you DMnut? We're driving over during the afternoon, so 7ish (or earlier or later)? Advise. I think your # is still in my cell phone.
Matos? Other Seattlites?

Done! Thai Tom has gotten rave reviews from everyone we've met who's eaten there.

I'm about to update the 43places.com entry with mad Thai Tom cooking action photos that I found last night.

Welcome to SEA!
I want to come, but I'm still at work, ARRGH. Post if there is more FAPing this weekend! I'm eating cold pizza for dinner at the moment... I wish it was tasty Thai food.

My god that was excellent! And the sheer theater of watching the man sling those pans, with the flames shooting out and the magic powders being dashed in. Can't wait to try more there!
We had dim sum this morning at the House of Hong - I love Ever-Cheerful Parking Guy! We got there the minute they opened, before he was on duty, but he came in the restaurant and made his rounds, greeting us as if he did truly remember us and gave us a present!
We took a chance and stopped at Roti on lower QA for dinner around 7 - which was no problem. Very welcome yummy food after a Bad Day with relatives in Olympia. And now we are camped in our hotel with the many bottles of booze we brought with, being boring. The PS2 does not work on the hotel tv, alas.
Tomorrow morning, breakfast somewhere - Caffe Minnie's? CJ's? Both old favorites. I wonder if 611 Supreme is open tomorrow?
Anyway, anyone up for a mid-morning mimosa to start the new year off right, drop a line. We want to get out of town around noonish, unless it snows something awful (we'll stay another day if Snoqualmie is bad).
