Ick!

That's pretty bad, but those "lazy Sunday" shirts have ruined humor for me.

i really liked the lazy sunday video but am now horrified to discover that it has become a minor phenomenon. Does that make me an elitist snob or what.

Jena (JenaP), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 09:28 (twenty years ago)

I found the "Idaho? No, You Da Ho" shirt hilarious first time I saw it (San Francisco Eagle).

Those shirts are lame, and transfer prints are horrible. Worst of both worlds.

I just don't get what the humor of "Niggers is People Too" is supposed to be. Is it supposed to be mocking white people who think they aren't racist but are? Because that's exactly who would buy the shirt!

Abbadavid Berman (Hurting), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 16:14 (twenty years ago)

And has anyone ever been seen actually wearing that shirt?

Abbadavid Berman (Hurting), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 16:29 (twenty years ago)

I've never seen that one, but I've seen the "Gettin' Lucky in Kentucky" one.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 16:36 (twenty years ago)

The "New Jersey: Only the Strong Survive" tee has been big here for a year or two. But I think it might be a different company than this Alabama one. This company's NJ shirt says "New Jersey is for Dirty Sluts."

The "non-ironic" state tee, from the Cat & Girl store:

Much better.

"statehood"

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 17:37 (twenty years ago)

Virginia didn't even look like that in 1788.

and it's a commonwealth

dammit

mookieproof (mookieproof), Wednesday, 28 December 2005 17:59 (twenty years ago)

I have one that says "it's better in the hamptons" because it's the closest thing to "everybody loves a jewish/italian/puerto rican girl" for me (North Fork vs South Fork isses aside). And it was $5.
