Buy chick jeans.

I've done that before now - they have hips, though, so not ideal.

levi's 514

cutty (mcutt), Sunday, 1 January 2006 16:54 (nineteen years ago)

The 514, like so many (all?) slim jeans, sit below the waist, and the look just ain't right for me - fine for my scrawny 15-year-old nephew.

T B J, Sunday, 1 January 2006 17:02 (nineteen years ago)

I've done that before

We've done this before too!

These are a little expensive, but they are (methinks) exactly what you are looking for. They are also the best jeans in the world. The first is if you are a regularly proportioned person. The second is if you are really skinny.

maura (maura), Sunday, 1 January 2006 23:45 (nineteen years ago)

Trousers always slump beneath my beer-gut. Hence teh baggy.

I can remember when Levis were 5 bucks. That's all I ever bought. Somewhere along the way I switched over to Lee and then Wrangler. I'm wearing jeans now, but honestly don't know what label they are. They're Jeans!

jim wentworth (wench), Monday, 2 January 2006 04:23 (nineteen years ago)

someone got to post about APC before me. oh well.

$140 for jeans isn't really that much if you consider that they'll last at least three times as long as some shoddy Old Navy jeans. I have two pairs. One from 2000 and one from like 2003.

phil-two (phil-two), Monday, 2 January 2006 04:25 (nineteen years ago)

Those APC jeans look exactly the ticket, thanks for the link Matt LC, but I am not in USA or Canada so am apparently unclean delivery-wize !

T B J, Monday, 2 January 2006 10:25 (nineteen years ago)

Doesn't Diesel have skinny jeans? I mean, they MUST, no?

140 dollars for a pair of jeans is alright. Go check out the prices for Seven jeans and then complain. ;-)

Nathalie (stevie nixed), Monday, 2 January 2006 10:37 (nineteen years ago)

Just rang Selfridges about those slim fitting jeans and they say APC have a store in London, although they don't know its name or location. Anyone know where it is?

T B J, Monday, 2 January 2006 12:28 (nineteen years ago)

i too would like this information - those jeans look very nice.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Monday, 2 January 2006 12:50 (nineteen years ago)

aren't all jeans super skinny now? at least over here alot seem to be.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 2 January 2006 14:09 (nineteen years ago)

Uh no, not all. Then again we live about three centuries behind everyone else in the world here, fashionwise.

Nathalie (stevie nixed), Monday, 2 January 2006 14:10 (nineteen years ago)

There is a brand called Pace, from Sweden, which are really nice, they are skinny but not like stuck to your leg skinny, pretty even and really comfortable, I have two pairs. I am trying to find pictures but their website doesn't have any of the nice ones.

Also some of the Blue Star Levis jeans are quite normal fitting.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 2 January 2006 14:13 (nineteen years ago)

am i wildly out of touch and untrendy for still wearing boot-cut jeans? i've basically not deviated from that style in 10 years. boot cut = industry standard, no? not sure about skinny, my big narrow feet look like sideshow bob's unless i cover them with a nice wide hem.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Monday, 2 January 2006 14:37 (nineteen years ago)

maybe I have a distorted view because I work in Urban Outfitters and get a 40 percent discount hence buy all my clothes there.

you'll get a great impression of the pace ones from these snapshots
