I am about 3 steps ahead of my boss finding out how many jobs are sitting on my desk in various stages of incompletion...and BOY does it feel good to kick them out the door, one by one. I am going to be super productive in 2006, that's my resolution -- plus then I can take ACTUAL sick time when I'm not afraid of what fresh hell would result from one day's absence.

I don't go back to work until tomorrow. The dread has set in already. Apparently this is the worst day in the year, due to being farthest away for summer holidays and the start of a really long and poor month due to excessive spending over the last couple of weeks, not to mention having to go back to work after a fair bit of time off.
