Teenage Tourettes Camp........

Soooo, anybody watch this? It wasn't really sympathetically done, I think it played it more for laughs and shocks.

It focused most on Jessica - the 'popular' girl who played on it, and Jennifer, the sad victim who displayed virtually no symptoms at all while at the camp.

The other three sufferers seemed like genuinely nice, well adjusted teens but weren't shown as much as the other two girls who's fued seemed to become the main focus of the programme.

I guess part of the point of the programme was to show how the touretters are teenagers just like any others. But just being a teenager doesn't make a person very interesting, and they didn't have enough about the syndrome itself. No interviews with the camp psychologist or director, except where he refused to comment on disciplining the kids. Far too much abseiling and horseriding.

I read this, then forgot to watch the programme due to CSI: Miami commitments.

Fnar fnar. No, I agree, he didn;t really seem to want much to do with the documentary which seems very strange to me. He shunned the camera but that may have had something to do with his condition? I don't know.

Why should people with particular conditions be made to congregate? There's no reason why they should all become best friends!

Jessica walked by with her new 'friends', all of which looked much like her, which was more the reason.

Inadvertant comedy: When the lad who shouted "Jengivehead" on day one, tried to get her to be his prom date on the last date.

Imagine two blokes who like to give out punchups. Why put them into the same room? Ans: for our enjoyment, right?
