Wow... that made up for a fine read. A lot seems logical as well.

But "amputee devotees" and "amputee wannabees" ?!

Gerard (Gerard), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:23 (twenty years ago)

Never mind that - an A-bomb fetish?!?!

Johnny B Was Quizzical (Johnney B), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:32 (twenty years ago)

I find it strange, I think, because it doesn't have any emphasis by popularity. To pick a random example, surely military uniform fetishism is much more popular than necrophilia - it feels odd to see them both given a similar level of emphasis on the map.

Forest Pines (ForestPines), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:33 (twenty years ago)

(I just picked two random boxes that are about the same size there)

Forest Pines (ForestPines), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:34 (twenty years ago)

Of course.

"Human parrots" is a new one on me.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:35 (twenty years ago)

Forest Pines OTM. Someone should send this to Edward Tufte so he can pick it apart in his new book:

Mike W (caek), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:35 (twenty years ago)

Hehehehe, yes.

(I like Tufte purely because his best-known book has a train path diagram on the cover. Yes, I am a sad geek.)

Forest Pines (ForestPines), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:37 (twenty years ago)

Missing from the chart (unless I just can't find them because of its woeful layout): Things particularly enjoyed by straight men; sucking; fucking.

Casuistry (Chris P), Saturday, 14 January 2006 18:43 (twenty years ago)

But they're not fetishes. A fetish is something that replaces traditional streams of desire with something else.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:36 (twenty years ago)

I thought I saw "streams of desire" on there.

truck-patch pixel farmer (my crop froze in the field) (Rock Hardy), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:47 (twenty years ago)

Sorry, I'm a bit drunk. You get what I mean.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:48 (twenty years ago)

they mis-spelt 'bukkake'!

erm…*look over there!*

carson dial (carson dial), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:48 (twenty years ago)

It is a goood list, Jeffery, and thurough

Jimmy Mod (I myself am lethal at 100 -110dB) (The Famous Jimmy Mod), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:53 (twenty years ago)

I don't get some of these. Waht the hell is "flattening" or "unbirthing"?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 15 January 2006 00:56 (twenty years ago)

So whatever is not on that chart is not a fetish and therefore normal?

StanM (StanM), Sunday, 15 January 2006 01:14 (twenty years ago)

(that was a purely theoretical question, just to see if we can't think of something)

Unbirth

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
(Redirected from Unbirthing)
Jump to: navigation, search
An unbirth is a sexual fetish involving the desire to be "swallowed alive" by the female genitalia. Taking the desire to return to the womb to heart, unbirth fans will often link to their new 'mother' via a magically adaptive umbilical cord, and remain happily ensconced for as long as their host permits. This fetish has been linked with the age regression fetish, as well as Vorarephilia.

A male version of this fetish, known as cock vore, has developed along side it (and may have derived from it), though it is less common than its sister fetish and is usually played alongside hypertrophia/hyperphallia in sexual role-play. It is often associated with (though not exclusive to) the furry "lifestyle".

Cock vore

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Jump to: navigation, search
Cock vore is a sexual fetish similar to unbirth, in which a person or persons desire to enter a male's body through their urethra. How this fetish came about is unknown, although it may have links to urethral sounding, a urological medical practice that has been incorporated into the fetish of cock and ball torture, or c&bt. Considering how small the urethra is compared to the size of a normal human body, this fetish is usually role-played alongside hyperphallia. Though most sessions end similar to unbirth, in which the player is curled up securely and comfortably within the stomach area of their partner, some hard vore players are forced into their partner's testicles, in which their body is broken down through unknown means and transformed into semen used to fuel their partner's own orgasm.

It's a strange and beautiful world.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 15 January 2006 12:52 (twenty years ago)

"cock vore", dear god....

Pashmina (Pashmina), Sunday, 15 January 2006 14:59 (twenty years ago)

the last bit of that sort of destroyed my ability to think.

Wogan Lenin (dog latin), Sunday, 15 January 2006 15:01 (twenty years ago)

"I am part of a specialist subset of cock vore fetishists who want to be devoured by the penii of drummers from nu metal bands. Is anybody up for a spot of roleplay on aim? I would prefer to be devoured by the cock of the drummer from Korn, though Limp Bizkit's drummer is a more than acceptable alternative."

Or something.

ESTEBAN BUTTEZ~!!! (ESTEBAN BUTTEZ~!!!), Sunday, 15 January 2006 15:16 (twenty years ago)

While trying to investigate what "Turkey Man" was supposed to be, I (almost typed "came across" there, har har) found this picture and I still don't quite know what to think, to be honest:

StanM (StanM), Sunday, 15 January 2006 18:55 (twenty years ago)

Oh, it's a cannibal thing. OK, nevermind.

StanM (StanM), Sunday, 15 January 2006 18:56 (twenty years ago)

"Bird-Neck Wringing"??

Merryweather (scarlet), Sunday, 15 January 2006 19:26 (twenty years ago)

But they're not fetishes. A fetish is something that replaces traditional streams of desire with something else.

From how I've always heard it (strictly) defined, no. A fetish is something that you cannot achieve sexual pleasure without. If you can get off without involving pissplay you don't have a pissplay fetish even if you like it.

Going with your definition, homosexuality is (I think -- I don't feel like reloading it) missing from the chart, then, since even in this day and age it's hardly "traditional".

But I'll point out that your definition of fetish doesn't strike me as useful (unless you are interested in marking some sexual activity as "normal" and some as "abnormal", which doesn't seem useful to me).
