Americans are very keen on these, presumably so they can easily show Great Aunt Hortence in Arcadia, Ohio exactly what they got up to on their vacation in Yurp, but this is open to good examples of the genre regardless of nationality or location.

Here's one to get you going:

Oh - I forgot to mention that Jared was strip-searched at EVERY airport security checkpoint.

"Dear all, having a lovely time in London, saw the queen, the changing of the guard, oh, and was anally raped by a tramp"

STOP HUMPING OUR CULTURE

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 13:16 (nineteen years ago)

Oh, and I have since discovered a website that reads photo diaries and reviews them...

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 13:20 (nineteen years ago)

What's so amusing about these? I want to sit on that lion too if I ever come to London!

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 13:24 (nineteen years ago)

But would you want to penetrate it anally?

Hello Sunshine (Hello Sunshine), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 13:29 (nineteen years ago)

Don't answer that.

I guess the most amusing thing about these vacation photos on little rock are that they only took four and one of those was of some chicks ass.

Steve Shasta (Steve Shasta), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 18:06 (nineteen years ago)

Weird that they made it to that neighborhood on the other side of the river. Definitely off the beaten path.

That monorail takes people over to Mud Island! You've probably never noticed it because we're always distracted by the huge panda banner hanging off of the Cook Center.

Mud Island! I used to love the riverboat museum and to walk along the scale replica of the Mississippi River that runs the length of Mud Island and then empties into a big pool (that for a brief period in the early 90's became known as "Bud Boogie Beach").
The ampitheater is fun, too! I saw Phish, Widespread Panic, Jeff Beck, and Santana there. Not all at the same time. and the HORDE tour! MTV was there! Missed the Sex Pistols reunion tour, though.

Tripmaker (SDWitzm), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 18:23 (nineteen years ago)

I've been to Mud Island and walked barefoot along the mini-Mississippi.

From that first link:

This was Thanksgiving, so we had Indian food.

!!!OMG.

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 21:19 (nineteen years ago)

Well the rest of the time they seemed to have pizza, so Indian food was quite adventurous.

Paul Kelly (kelly), Thursday, 2 February 2006 07:09 (nineteen years ago)

In a restaurant called Ask, no less.

These people think MI5 is based in Charing Cross station. I'm assuming they got it mixed up with the vaguely similar-looking one at Vauxhall Cross, even though that's actually the home of MI6...

What's worse is that one of this pair is actually FROM london...
