It looks like first-grade classroom decorations.

Abbadavid Berman (Hurting), Thursday, 2 February 2006 03:02 (nineteen years ago)

What's the "concept"?

Marcel Post (Marcel Post), Thursday, 2 February 2006 03:15 (nineteen years ago)

i like it

cowbear (chaki), Thursday, 2 February 2006 03:22 (nineteen years ago)

the concept is "i'm being turned into patchwork since i stepped in this magic puddle." i also like it.

fortunate hazel (f. hazel), Thursday, 2 February 2006 03:50 (nineteen years ago)

to me, it looks like a costume from some community theater production of a sort of broadway show.

tehresa (tehresa), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:00 (nineteen years ago)

or that big white viktor * rolf dress with the red i love you on it

phil-two (phil-two), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:03 (nineteen years ago)

it could be more japanese. then i think people would think it's in better taste. but anthony is right.

youn, Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:05 (nineteen years ago)

no, that's bad.

dar1a g (daria g), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:25 (nineteen years ago)

okay maybe i need a reality check

youn, Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:27 (nineteen years ago)

It is very ugly and quite boring!

Andrew (enneff), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:39 (nineteen years ago)

The red sequined heart strapped to her wrist doesn't improve things.

Jaq (Jaq), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:43 (nineteen years ago)

well, I have strong biases against both concepts and pink.

dar1a g (daria g), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:44 (nineteen years ago)

I think the photo is very telling about the state of the West. The corporate logos on the walls and even in the carpet. All those money and security guys standing around dressed in black, protecting and enabling the star dressed in bright colours. Listening to the hard-nosed messages coming in on their earpieces about terrorists, disruptors, bomb threats, protesters, stalkers, perverts. "Chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Roger, I hear you, will check the second peach heart from the hem for anthrax."

Momus (Momus), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:47 (nineteen years ago)

Putting aside the fact it's making my eyes bleed - i would say it's not a very good dress because it really doesn't fit her well at all. It's like it's wearing her!

heh xpost

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:50 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, the photo is kind of interesting. also figuring she prob wore the dress because all publicity is good publicity, yes?

who is that anyway? if she were a real big star she wouldn't have to be "conceptual"

dar1a g (daria g), Thursday, 2 February 2006 04:55 (nineteen years ago)

It's like Barbie and My Little Pony got partnered up for a fashion school project.

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Thursday, 2 February 2006 05:04 (nineteen years ago)

and one of them got heavy into some sociology wankery.

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Thursday, 2 February 2006 05:06 (nineteen years ago)

rrrobyn, too funny. that dress kills me- although I really don't get the long sleeves. weird.

lyra (lyra), Thursday, 2 February 2006 05:13 (nineteen years ago)

hello kitty got drunk

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 2 February 2006 05:23 (nineteen years ago)

haha, thermo, i forgot to say "in soviet russia, dress wears you!"

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Thursday, 2 February 2006 05:29 (nineteen years ago)

since when are heart motifs in women's fashion "conceptually brilliant"? this dress might be cute on a 4 year old, but it makes a quite handsome woman look ANCIENT by contrast. and seriously, that is beyond ugly, not to mention looking like a 6th grade home economics project. THUMBS DOWN.

elmo, patron saint of nausea (allocryptic), Thursday, 2 February 2006 06:01 (nineteen years ago)

'Conceptually brilliant' is the art world's 'oh, that looks... lovely.'

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Thursday, 2 February 2006 06:09 (nineteen years ago)

i am going to have nightmares about the color palette of that dress.

elmo, patron saint of nausea (allocryptic), Thursday, 2 February 2006 06:14 (nineteen years ago)

It works! Nobody has noticed her wrinkles and hair!

StanM (StanM), Thursday, 2 February 2006 09:26 (nineteen years ago)

(er... except elmo)

StanM (StanM), Thursday, 2 February 2006 09:28 (nineteen years ago)

HOly thundenkryicky! i was abled to sense this pinky fabrico! It goed unto lady? We saw. We looked like it when we were younger

Latham Green (mike), Thursday, 2 February 2006 10:00 (nineteen years ago)

who is that anyway? if she were a real big star she wouldn't have to be "conceptual"

"hello kitty got drunk"

I was thinking the same thing. It's just too cutesy. Would be great if it was a Paris Hilton type person wearing it: you know, all peroxide and *shit*.

Nathalie (stevie nixed), Thursday, 2 February 2006 13:19 (nineteen years ago)

it reminds me of an explodingdog scene.

AaronK (AaronK), Thursday, 2 February 2006 13:44 (nineteen years ago)

I think I'd like to get married in it.

Miss Misery xox (MissMiseryTX), Thursday, 2 February 2006 16:21 (nineteen years ago)

reminds me of Nerds rope, only less pretty.

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Thursday, 2 February 2006 16:33 (nineteen years ago)

But Bjork is Bjork. She always dresses like that! I liked the swan dress, except it didn't fit properly.

dar1a g (daria g), Thursday, 2 February 2006 17:09 (nineteen years ago)

is that bjork? she looks awful. maybe it's the dress. hmm.

Miss Misery xox (MissMiseryTX), Thursday, 2 February 2006 17:10 (nineteen years ago)
