Also, for helping to expose midwestern suburban white kids to such cultural phenomena as the "dog pound" and "posse," as well as being a better way to waste an hour before Dave Letterman came on(other than end-period Johnny Carson or "Laugh-In" reruns).
Not so classic on the "woof woof woof" thing.
