At base, your choices in life come down to having social skills or selling blow

If possible, you can have a little of both, but it is more likely to tend to the extremes one way or another. This wisdom was advanced by Donut and I in a phone conversation this evening, and we invite you to critique or adapt it.

i sell social skills for blow

latebloomer (latebloomer), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:25 (nineteen years ago)

If you said "or DOING blow" I might agree with you.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:26 (nineteen years ago)

By the way, I would not have pegged this as a Ned thread.

At base, your choices in life come down to having social skills or selling blow being a boozer.

Trayce (trayce), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:29 (nineteen years ago)

Tracer, this is about having friends. How many friends are you going to keep if you are doing blow as opposed to selling it?

Dom iNut (donut), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:30 (nineteen years ago)

I don't think you can really call customers "friends," even if they do introduce you as one to their needy, jaw-gurning coterie

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:38 (nineteen years ago)

"hey, i want you to meet somebody! c'mere c'mere! hey, it's uh - what's your name again, i'm so sorry - ted! right. this is ted."

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:48 (nineteen years ago)

Oh, you mean to have friends.
Well what if you're just rich or beautiful? Lots of people have answers that don't boil down to coke or being charming.

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Saturday, 4 February 2006 04:48 (nineteen years ago)

It's the quantity not that quality that counts.

Dom iNut (donut), Saturday, 4 February 2006 05:26 (nineteen years ago)

Let's not fool ourselves.

*sniiiiiiiiifff*

Dom iNut (donut), Saturday, 4 February 2006 05:26 (nineteen years ago)

You have two choices in life. Learn how to hypnotize people to do your bidding or learn how to attract pity so you can get free stuff.

Mr. Latham Green (hanle y 3000), Saturday, 4 February 2006 06:25 (nineteen years ago)

Initially, I thought social skills but I can see what selling blow means too. Friendly low-level blow dealer, conscious of friends not "getting in too deep" n' all. HEART OF GOLD.

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Saturday, 4 February 2006 07:25 (nineteen years ago)

More flow charts, huzzah!

Crack Rock? Or Hook Shot?

I'm not sure what blow is? It's a film with Johnny Depp isn't it? You mean I have to go on the streets and sell copies of this movie? This is odd.

3rd Choice - Take it easy and let life happen to you, it's not so bad.

jel -- (jel), Sunday, 5 February 2006 09:42 (nineteen years ago)

More flowcharts!

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Sunday, 5 February 2006 16:11 (nineteen years ago)

In what way is a giant mug of german beer not a flowchart?

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Sunday, 5 February 2006 16:14 (nineteen years ago)

haha, unfortunate object placement of social-skills products makes for thread-contextual humour:

one year passes...
Let us reconsider this mystery.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 1 March 2007 03:35 (eighteen years ago)

i like the fact that Death links to either LSD or Jesus.

also, one of the dealrs i know is really one of the nicest guys ever. he has massive social skills, a daughter that he is primary caregiver of, a nice pad, a good car, a LUCRATIVE job. i mean, it's not like i would want to sell drugs, but looking at him i see the appeal.
