Astounding. I have been a fan of Farley, who runs the excellent Electric Sheep Comix site, for some years, when I came across an early piece of his, Saturnalia, a brilliant parody of Jack Chick's tracts. I heartily recommend each of his other pieces you'll find linked from the main page, which run the gamut from silly fun to autobiography to in-depth and truly touching meditations on the wide wonders of life.

More recently he's been doing a great job with Apocamon, his revamp of Revelations through rather different eyes, but like most 9/11 threw him for a loop, resulting in his newest work, The Spiders. To say what it is would give away too much. But damn if this isn't the current benchmark for artistic reaction to the event, at least for me. Please, take the time to visit it, trust me. I'm interested in all your thoughts.

And be a good person and chip in a tip if you like his stuff. He deserves it.

three weeks pass...
Ned I forgot to say that I read "The Spiders" and was very very impressed. By the style, by the subject matter, by the nuance of its politics. I found myself constantly reassessing where the hell I thought it was going. And that's a Good Thing™.
