They're interesting but I don't know enough about them to pronounce them classic - dunno what they taste like, frinstance

They taste of yum, so classic.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 12:13 (nineteen years ago)

Some of them are eclectic, so watch out.

StanM (StanM), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 12:14 (nineteen years ago)

Have to say, I always preferred the young elvers to later when they're all fat and bloated.

NickB (NickB), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 12:15 (nineteen years ago)

Being stuck in a tank all that time probably didn't help.

inert false cat (sleep), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 15:36 (nineteen years ago)

eels are delicious and i WISH this continent would wake up to that. and wake up to the fact that everybody used to eat them all the time.

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 17:27 (nineteen years ago)

Freshwater eels of the eastern seaboard of North America migrate to the Sargasso Sea in order to reproduce and then the eel fry migrate back to the rivers - like salmons, only in reverse. This is ultra-classic.

Aimless (Aimless), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 18:03 (nineteen years ago)

and tasty!
