I'm having serious withdraws coming off of Paxil, and mental zaps along with flu-like symptoms couldn't come at a worse point in my life. I have no health insurane, and I just moved, so the option of going to see a doctor seems out of my financial reach. I could probably afford a hundred or two for the drugs and such, but not a $300 first time consultation fee plus the drugs...
Someone told me to try the walk-in-clinic.
?

They'll prescribe you almost any variety of benzodiazepines, including ativan, if that'll help.
They seem to be international, but I'm not sure how that would work, whether you'd have to wait for air-mail, etc.
But reading your post really gave me a flash-back of how desperate I used to get myself, and glad that I don't take anything anymore (apart from beer). You'd be a lot better off if you just stuck it out. (but I also remember that when people said things like that to me at the time, I was just 'yeh, sure, just tell me how to get the fucking drugs').

!!!?!? HOLY CRAP. Is that how much seeing a GP costs in the US without govt subsidy or insurance? No wonder no one goes to the doctor omg :(
(here it costs maybe $50 at most, and you usually get all bar 15-20 bucks of that back on a medicare claim. I realise how lucky we are, and it is terrible you guys have to pay so damn much!)

Alternatively, you could try Mexico.

In my experience, SSRI withdrawals have fucktons of side effects, not all consistent, and all terrible. Like how I felt before the SSRIs but about 100x worse, plus vomiting/nausea, out-of-body feelings, and other nasty surprises. Combined with the flu, who knows?
So, you have my sympathy once again. I hope this gets better for you ASAP.

That's if you're lucky. I paid $200 to get my ears cleaned. Possibly three minutes with the doctor and 7 with the technician. (But I got a free sample drugs, too.)
