From Nero Show Time files to something I can acutally watch on DVD? lol ;)

Hello.
Mr. technophobe here.
I've recorded some TV programmes from my computer onto a DVD-RW disc using Nero but when I put it in my player, it will not play... the files are called Nero Show Time files...
...so, my question is, what do I need to do to get them to play on the DVD- recorder in my living room? I'm presuming they need some extra conversion.....
...does anyone know if this can be done with the Nero program or any other program which will convert these files I can actually watch on my TV rather than having to watch them on the PC?
If you do know, I'd need a bit of a layman's explanation on what to do LOL

I don't know without more information, but a start is to get VSO DivxtoDVD - you should be able to find a free download of it... It'll change video files into VSO files needed for DVD format.

You also need the right plugin for Nero to burn DVDs - I assume you have that.

Or you can use Nero to create a Video CD, which will play in some DVD players.
