is "juliet of the spirits" the most annoying film ever made?

i've got a reasonably high tolerance for plotless artiness (i love godard after all) and i like both "8 1/2" and "la dolce vita" well enough. but i seriously can't think of a more interminable, boring, insultingly pretentious and pointless film than this one.

i saw it for free and part of me still kind of wants my money back.

i totally like Juliet of the Spirits, though it's definitely flawed. if you want to talk about unwatchable, let's talk about Roma or Satyricon.

I used to love Breaking the Waves in college, but saw it again recently and was embarrassed for ever having liked it.

Juliet Of The Spirits is totally watchable. What's wrong with folks? OTOH, I watched Nashville yesterday and that was somewhat of a chore.

i found nashville pretty interminable too! it was like being stuck in a crowded elevator for three hours.
