A streetwise wisecracking Los Angeles cop (think eddie murphy in 48 hours, but played by, y'know, martin lawrence maybe) gets in trouble with his supervisor and is bailed out by the department of homeland security. They recruit him to be a super-secret undercover spy on the newest threat to america -- peace protest groups that they suspect are secretly harboring fundamentalist terrorists. He dons a disguise as a 65 year old elderly white woman in order to infiltrate a group of Quakers is Massachusets. Comedy ensues. He comes to love and respect the rights of those he spies on, despite their anti-american ideology and has to deal with a burgoning romantic interest in helena bonham carter, who is hilariously getting arrested for nonviolent resistance in the midst of every opportunity he has to make a move. Eventually, a sadistic attorney general (about whom homoerotic innuendo is played up for yet more laughs!) decides, based on his reports (which he initially beefs up for brownie boints) to send all Quakers to gitmo. He is confronted by a moral crisis and risks everything, blowing his cover to save the rights he treasures, the friends he respects, and the woman he's come to love.

Think Our Man In Havana meets Big Momma's House meets White Girls meets Undercover Brother meets Mrs. Doubtfire meets Farenheit 911.

Undercover Grandmother
[Shot of Martin Lawrence struggling out of a fat grandmother suit, half falling over and tripping as he reaches after Carter, against the backdrop of an american flag.]
