I called a felt-tip pen company a few years ago and asked. The ink is non-toxic. It's ok to eat. Phone research also proved that glitter is safe to eat, if you want to make brownies with a Special Ingredient that isn't the weeds.

I mailed my bf a book on beijing (he's going there in june, hopefully with me in tow) wrapped in a pink tea towel, a love letter & a wooden spoon. the wooden spoon had a little tag on it made from a pink bicycle playing card & said, "spoonful of love." really, i just liked the spoon.

mandee i think it was a lot more jokey than i took it... my friends rib me all the time, but with the way i was feeling at the time (ie just having gone to pick up one of my frat brothers for the movie and seeing the car of exgf i still have deep feelings for parked there as she's started hooking up with another one of them) (ps dont judge me for the frat thing) i just took it the wrong way.

djp: this is a genius answer-- but more seriously the thing that's so stupid about the whole situation is that since i started with my last girlfriend over a year ago i've completely forgotten how to flirt without being really drunk. and since i've just promised myself that i would start restricting my drinking to only 3 nights a week (instead of the 5 or 6 i was doing before) that leaves me little time! plus none of our mutual friends want to help me for some unknown reason

i was the only female on my floor who didnt receive a flower/basket/balloon delivery, but im still pro-flowers in the office. it makes everything look prettier and seems to put everyone in a good mood. There are still a bunch of red and silver balloons around today, which is nice.
