melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:16 (nineteen years ago)

youths, they should be banned from pubs too. oh wait, they are. UNLESS THEY ARE DINING.

the kit! (g-kit), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:17 (nineteen years ago)

the kit! (g-kit), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:20 (nineteen years ago)

There was a Monsoon here last night too, it was dreadful. I had the window open, and all my stuff got soaked.

melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:20 (nineteen years ago)

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:26 (nineteen years ago)

kate, you totally mocked me for buying something from Monsoon on a fashion thread about a year ago! the wound obviously hasn't yet healed...

Cathy (Cathy), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:27 (nineteen years ago)

The landlord in the pub up the road shot his wife while she was sleeping.

melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:28 (nineteen years ago)

i went to a posh restaurant last night, it was so posh that my food came with a little zigzag of sauce instead of a BLOB. and i drank WINE. and it was SO DAMN POSH that they didn't even cater for vegetarians and i had to eat fish, because in posh restaurants, fish is a vegetable *nods sagely*.

the kit! (g-kit), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:29 (nineteen years ago)

*nods in thyme with teh kit's sage*

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:33 (nineteen years ago)

melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:37 (nineteen years ago)

How about we just agree on hott pictures of Rupert Brooke and bury the hatchet over the disagreement about Monsoon hippie scarves vs. actual hippie scarves bought in Africa or India or Green Point? ;-)

Cup of tea?

She's In Parties (kate), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:38 (nineteen years ago)

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:39 (nineteen years ago)

I'll settle for that, kate : )

Cathy (Cathy), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:39 (nineteen years ago)

yknow we'll have to have a FAGOW (glass of wine, obv, poshos) since we all live so close and like don't live in london so we'll actually be able to get some decent transport to the venue.

melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:50 (nineteen years ago)

but cars gives you so much FREEDOM

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 14:53 (nineteen years ago)

it's celebrity spotting week for teh middle class rofflers. last night i went to see Goldie Lookin Chain and i saw D4nny W4ll4ce in the crowd, the geezer who did Join Me and then said Yes to everything for ages, then made his own country in his flat. Also, as a special birthday treat, i saw J0hnny 4ll3n from teh Eastenders doing some middle-class down south shopping in teh L4k3s1d3 shopping centre. which reminds me, we'll have to have a middle class down south FAGOW at BLU3W4T3R someday. i'm not actually googleproofing the names of these shopping centres btw, i'm just making them look l33t. about two years ago i saw G4Ry Nu|v|4n at L4k3s1d3, too. what celebs have YOU seen while you were shopping in a southern, middle-class way?

next time i'll use paragraphs. i promise.

the kit! (g-kit), Thursday, 16 February 2006 11:40 (nineteen years ago)

I R scared of threads with RULES and I want to be sure you aren't going to ban/haet me for going outwith the remit of your thread :-)

HI DERE

I Tried to Use My Cock as a Bong (noodle vague), Saturday, 10 February 2007 13:08 (eighteen years ago)

i saw L O S T at last! awesomes. now i'm going to bed.

teh_kit never wins (g-kit), Saturday, 10 February 2007 14:25 (eighteen years ago)

I still haven't seen it due to luddite husband and my deference to his ludditish ways (he is not ludditish about Heroes and Studio 60 and the like, but his justification for L O S T is that it's on the telly in a few days anyway. That's all very well for him who doesn't live on teh internets, but it makes my life difficult, inconsiderate fool)

I just watched Primeval. It was teh crap, and shall not be joining that there list of geeky programmes I watch.

I think I've convinced Onimo on Life on Mars, or maybe he just said he'd watch it to shut me up.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 10 February 2007 21:07 (eighteen years ago)

LOL RVIVE

ken c, Thursday, 22 February 2007 11:25 (eighteen years ago)

same as usual: UK Losties, bullshit bullshit, bad spelling, wahtever.

g-kit, Thursday, 8 March 2007 11:47 (eighteen years ago)

I am here to register my disgust about the fact that I cannot seem to download Lost faster than 2kb/s. I will not be able to read the L O S T thread until next cocking week at this rate.

blueski, Thursday, 8 March 2007 11:52 (eighteen years ago)

mine was fine when i left this morning, averaging 9/10k or so. toe rent is from pir at e ba y dot comshapes. look on the bright side: if you can't read/post to LOST torrent, you can read/post to this AWESOMES thread instead. AMAZINGS.

g-kit, Thursday, 8 March 2007 11:56 (eighteen years ago)

I get the same torrents as most other people, I don't know why they don't speed up anymore - used to be fine.

blueski, Thursday, 8 March 2007 11:59 (eighteen years ago)

maybe you need to open some ports or some shit. i seem to remember doing that.

g-kit, Thursday, 8 March 2007 12:04 (eighteen years ago)

maybe. i think the Heroes i got the other week was fast enough tho (less seeds and leechers tho).

blueski, Thursday, 8 March 2007 12:07 (eighteen years ago)

Everything's fucked. We may not be watching LOST until tomorrow because we all made plans by accident!

melton mowbray, Thursday, 8 March 2007 13:28 (eighteen years ago)

you tool.

g-kit, Thursday, 8 March 2007 13:29 (eighteen years ago)

Impatient L O S T toe-rent ppl! Those dat can't spell! FALLOUT SURVIVORS! Romans, countrymen!

Gather here! Or not!
Wahtever.

g-kit, Thursday, 15 March 2007 08:55 (eighteen years ago)

lolololololoololololollollolol

ken c, Thursday, 15 March 2007 08:59 (eighteen years ago)

I got my toe-rent started this morning before I left for work. I told my wife last night to tell me to get lost in the morning, and she remembered :)

onimo, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:32 (eighteen years ago)

I think I'm averaging only 3-5kb a second again. But the stuff I got via UK N0va last night was supersonic. Donunnerstand.

blueski, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:34 (eighteen years ago)

I got mine from ex-tee-vee-eye and it was at 30k and rising within minutes.

onimo, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:35 (eighteen years ago)

Do you check seed numbers before starting? Peer:seed ratio is U&K.

onimo, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:36 (eighteen years ago)

yes, but there's only one or two torrents you can go for anyway (unless you want the .rar versions or the avis that are twice the size/quality of the regular ones, which i don't)

seed/peer ratio was about 1:5 which is fairly typical and has allowed for faster downloads in the past. just don't get what has changed since then. wouldn't mind as long as it would still finish by 10pm or so tonight but it probably won't sob.

blueski, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:39 (eighteen years ago)

You should get a fast toe-rent having friend to forward it to you via slsk or something, it would probably work out quicker.

onimo, Thursday, 15 March 2007 12:59 (eighteen years ago)

My toe-rent was working fine when I left this morning. I'm praying I don't have a repeat of last week, when, upon returning home, I found that my gf's PC had frozen about an hour after I left the house.

g-kit, Thursday, 15 March 2007 13:06 (eighteen years ago)

must. not. click. L O S T. thread.

onimo, Thursday, 15 March 2007 15:17 (eighteen years ago)
