Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Saturday, 25 February 2006 01:53 (nineteen years ago)

(or, see you on the 17th)

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Saturday, 25 February 2006 01:53 (nineteen years ago)

Is the 17th ok for everyone? I warn you - it's my b-day, I have the day off and it's also St. Patrick's day so I intend to be nicely toasted by mid-afternoon - so come night, I may slightly be on yet another wild, drunken rampage. But who can foretell these things?

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 25 February 2006 02:01 (nineteen years ago)

boourns, who drinks on st paddys day

mark p (Mark P), Saturday, 25 February 2006 02:06 (nineteen years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Saturday, 25 February 2006 02:48 (nineteen years ago)

Good times... severely hung over, though. Good to finally meet Mark, I'm adding you to the FAPee list.

Urgh. I feel like ass in a basket.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 25 February 2006 15:40 (nineteen years ago)

i think i had a little too much fun myself

s1ocki (slutsky), Saturday, 25 February 2006 15:55 (nineteen years ago)

s1ocki (slutsky), Saturday, 25 February 2006 15:56 (nineteen years ago)

s1ocki (slutsky), Saturday, 25 February 2006 15:56 (nineteen years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Saturday, 25 February 2006 17:39 (nineteen years ago)

Good seeing all you guys!

I'm still a little bit disappointed that MarkP didn't bring Kardi.

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 25 February 2006 18:00 (nineteen years ago)

np: los lobos, "ooh my head"

yuengling participle (rotten03), Saturday, 25 February 2006 19:58 (nineteen years ago)

my everything hurts.

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Saturday, 25 February 2006 20:03 (nineteen years ago)

My head is fine, but there is fire in my belly. I've noticed something disturbing as of late: when I go out dancing I wake up with sore abs, which can only mean that those muscles have atrophied something fierce. Eighteen-year-old me, who could do literally hundreds of crunches, would weep.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 25 February 2006 20:09 (nineteen years ago)

your abs hurt!? wow, that can only mean that you really need to cut down on the lude hip thrusts. now that other time when the stiff dancer guy thought you were cutting in on his woman makes a lot more sense.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 25 February 2006 20:24 (nineteen years ago)

oh man... it's not getting better, it's getting worse

s1ocki (slutsky), Saturday, 25 February 2006 21:11 (nineteen years ago)

xpost: Bwahahahahaha! But seriously, I get the achey abs regardless of how thrusty my hips are.

And that girl? She was there. Making out with the friend of Stiff Dancer Guy, who was nowhere to be seen. JUSTICE IS SERVED.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 25 February 2006 21:56 (nineteen years ago)

omg!

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 25 February 2006 22:02 (nineteen years ago)

That is so awesome.

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 25 February 2006 22:41 (nineteen years ago)

i want you all to know that i spent 11 hours helping a friend move yesterday and at one point i actually blamed the underdown for my dropping a couch.

also, how about that cupcake lady.

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 26 February 2006 14:41 (nineteen years ago)

cupcake lady!?

s1ocki (slutsky), Sunday, 26 February 2006 15:32 (nineteen years ago)

mark i am so sorry for you. yesterday was truly one of the worst hangovers of my life. it was really weird, i mean i got drunk but i've certainly been drunker, i didn't even get sick or anything. but... so. rough.

s1ocki (slutsky), Sunday, 26 February 2006 15:33 (nineteen years ago)

Cupcake lady was a cutie indeed.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Sunday, 26 February 2006 17:33 (nineteen years ago)

slocki, maybe a frat boy slipped you roofies?

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 26 February 2006 18:07 (nineteen years ago)

*scratchy PA* "Be careful of the the brown cupcakes going around. If you're going to experiment take only half a tab."

seriously, cupcake lady??

yuengling participle (rotten03), Sunday, 26 February 2006 21:50 (nineteen years ago)

Cupcake lady = a very cute & vivacious young lady who apparently works in a specialty bake shop making cupcakes & other such tasty things.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Sunday, 26 February 2006 23:39 (nineteen years ago)

cupcakes : her :: milkshakes : kelis

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 26 February 2006 23:44 (nineteen years ago)

why did i not meet the cupcake lady

s1ocki (slutsky), Sunday, 26 February 2006 23:44 (nineteen years ago)

dude you totally did

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 26 February 2006 23:46 (nineteen years ago)

which was she

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 27 February 2006 00:03 (nineteen years ago)

oh ok nevermind

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 27 February 2006 00:14 (nineteen years ago)

Her cupcakes bring all the boys to the shop!!!

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Monday, 27 February 2006 19:08 (nineteen years ago)

Weurrgh. I am still hungover somewhat. Not that I don't deserve it.

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Monday, 27 February 2006 19:23 (nineteen years ago)

It's strange -- I didn't think that everyone was so blazing drunk, at least not compared to other times we've had drinks together. Then again, I normally drink more than I did on Friday night, so maybe I couldn't gauge all of your drunkennesses (?) while sober. Then again, things probably deteriorated further at the after hours place.

(particularly Chuck, you seemed stone cold sober compared to every other Track Meet event)

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Monday, 27 February 2006 19:40 (nineteen years ago)

Who all ended up at the after-hours, anyway?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Monday, 27 February 2006 20:43 (nineteen years ago)

after hours

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 27 February 2006 20:50 (nineteen years ago)

the after hours = my living room, after futile attempts to knock on the doors of chinese restaurants "this used to be an after hours place guys i swear"

yuengling participle (rotten03), Monday, 27 February 2006 22:03 (nineteen years ago)

Just to let you know the pizzas are great because there cheesy, big and you get alot of toppings.

One thing I don't like is theie customer service. For example a friend and I ordered a pizza. The guy is asking us over and over again what toppings we want when we already told him. All we wanted was one large pizza with whatever toppings we asked for and he gives a hard time.

HAWT.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Monday, 27 February 2006 22:09 (nineteen years ago)

two weeks pass...
ok so Friday, there's that horrible thing where i get a year older and need a drink to cope. we are not sure where yet, but The Wheat Sheaf has been suggested. though i could also handle somewhere with good sangria. (suggestions?) Sundar, if yr out there, did you get my email reply? hope you can make it!

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 16 March 2006 04:52 (nineteen years ago)

I just sent you an email! I had to leave Toronto earlier than planned and will unfortunately have to miss this.

Sundar (sundar), Thursday, 16 March 2006 05:02 (nineteen years ago)

aw that's a shame.

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 16 March 2006 05:09 (nineteen years ago)

Stood up for Buffalo? OUch!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 16 March 2006 06:00 (nineteen years ago)

oasis on college has excellent sangria, but shit food.

i have meetings and various other things in the magic city of wonder and goodness, but 24th to the 1st, lets meet for a pint...

anthony easton (anthony), Thursday, 16 March 2006 06:39 (nineteen years ago)

Good sangria: Margarita's on Baldwin (although this is more of a summer + patio place)

Wheat Sheaf is near King + Bathurst, right?

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Thursday, 16 March 2006 06:40 (nineteen years ago)

Tortilla Flats Redux has sangria and possibly an open patio.

Rufus 3000 (Mr Noodles), Thursday, 16 March 2006 16:19 (nineteen years ago)

I'm over the sangria craving i think. maybe. but yes, wheat sheaf is on king. i haven't been there for ages though, so maybe it sucks?

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 16 March 2006 23:22 (nineteen years ago)

Awww, crizzap.

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow in Niagara Falls (no, not my own, someone else's) and won't be back 'til Saturday morning. If it's any consolation, I'd much rather be drinking with y'all, as this thing is earmarked for disaster: the sister of the bride is actually more of a Bridezilla than the bride herself, and we're 99.9999999% sure that there's going to be a scene.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 17 March 2006 00:21 (nineteen years ago)

no worries, i've just had a fantastic idea. since we've not been going to our favourite restaurant Matagali quite as often this past year, Zac's been bugging me for months and weeks to go try the food here: http://www.indianricefactory.com/index.php so i think that'll be where we'll go first (feel free to join) and then for beer afterwards or even on saturday. i don't even care at this point! sorry for the haphazard planning here but i am just thrilled to have gotten through a hellish two weeks of work and there's nothing particular that i *have* to do tomorrow. whee

Kim (Kim), Friday, 17 March 2006 01:18 (nineteen years ago)

I'll be free Saturday night, if you guys are thinking of going for a drink then as well - I'd love to see everyone!

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 17 March 2006 01:39 (nineteen years ago)

Wait.. tomorrow is St.Patty's! I'm going to be busy.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Friday, 17 March 2006 06:07 (nineteen years ago)

I could also shift plans to Saturday, I'd say more but I've had a few drinks tonight and am so tired I can barely type or watch large breasted women eat roadkill on Fear Factor. I'm going to lie down now. Oh, and Happy Birthday Kim!

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Friday, 17 March 2006 07:43 (nineteen years ago)

thanks!

Kim (Kim), Friday, 17 March 2006 16:15 (nineteen years ago)

or watch large breasted women eat roadkill
A suggestion for saturday izit?

HAPPY BARFDAY KIM!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Friday, 17 March 2006 16:19 (nineteen years ago)

CHEERS to Kim's birthday today!!
JEERS to Rob being busy with family dinner then "return to new york" action and hence missing any festivities this eve...

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 17 March 2006 16:47 (nineteen years ago)

hey now, i am NOT eating any roadkill.

tomorrow night then, to be simple, let's just do HOP again?

Kim (Kim), Friday, 17 March 2006 19:18 (nineteen years ago)

Is this still on? Did anybody set a time?

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Sunday, 19 March 2006 00:08 (nineteen years ago)

I'm guessing not.

It's fricken cold out.

Rufus 3000 (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 19 March 2006 00:20 (nineteen years ago)
