Say I wanna see a particular episode of Dark Shadows or something, where do I go? Kazaa?

I often wondered, back in the day of Kazaa/Audiogal, who were these nice people who would only upload stuff for people to download?

It goes trippleforth for TV shows.

I got loads of stuff in my attic.

But what would make me want to digitise them and upload them to youtube, for no other reason than altruism?

I dunno.

You may be the only person who has some of the stuff in your attic. Tapes degrade. Digitising them an uploading means they will be saved forever. You'll be like that hero at the BBC who stashed all the tapes in the false ceiling to stop them being overwritten.
