Dusty Springfield

How tall was Dusty Springfield in her life? I wonder this because in a TV show clip she once stood next to Woody Allen and looked shorter than he was!

Each time I put a question in about "height" with her name it pulls up sentences like "Height of career", just like "how tall?" brings up her tall beehive hairdos!

Thanks!

from celebheights.com:

"Dusty Springfield's height is 5 ft 3 in (160 cm)"

this question was worthwhile for causing me to discover that there is a website called celebheights.com.

That website would be much better if it had all the celebrities listed in height order rather than alphabetical.

And if it hadn't frozen my computer.

Maybe Woody Allen was stood on tip-toe to see if she was in fact dusty.

Or maybe Dusty was bent down to see if he was in fact woody.

Oh, WTF am I on about?

Woody ran a finger over her face to see if she was Dusty, and Dusty rapped him on the forehead to see if he was Woody - it was television at its best

I can't imagine those two together. Are you sure it wasn't Goldie Hawn?

I imagine Woody was a guest on her TV show. Even Scott Walker had a TV show in those days.

Woody Allen's real name is not Woody Allen.

Dusty Springfeild has a look I find bad. I'm not sure why.

Thanks, Gypsy Mothra! I'm glad I got at least one serious answer!

To those that comment on her "look" or speak of her in the present tense - C'mon! It was the late 60s when heavy black eyeliner was big on models and celebs alike. Petula once remarked about how everyone was doing this in those days, but Dusty....she just took it to another level! But also, Dusty Died several years ago. Another loss to breast cancer.

I read an unconfirmed rumor that Ang Lee was interested in directing a biopic.
