Mad story...

Hitman case 'brazen hussy' claim

But am I reading this bit be right?

"She took nine lovers, including her husband's son - who later died in a road accident - on their wedding day."

9? On her wedding day? Now that does sound fairly brazen.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

She also described how she had sex in the woods with a builder called Dan, who had wolf whistled at her with his friends as she passed in her soft-top Saab.

HOLY SHIT, THAT ACTUALLY WORKS????

"Cardiff Crown Court heard Jones had first been unfaithful to her husband on their wedding night in 1998 when she and his son Magnus shared a kiss." (from a difft. article -- the mystery of the ungrammatical sentence is solved and the answer turns out to be rather dull).

It gets better...

Her husband testified...
"She turned up half an hour later with her new lover Keith Molloy who she met on the internet though their interest in witchcraft. She humiliated me."

"She drove past his building site in her soft-top Saab and stuck her telephone number in a packet of polo mints which she threw into the site."

She's a classy lady.

Sorry to keep going on about this - I think I'm getting obsessed - but I loved the sub-headings on the story...

'End husband's life'
'Stage accident'
'String of lovers'
'Deep gorge'

The last being Welsh for brazen hussy I believe.

It seemed like a good time at the time.

Is it just me or does the first article read more like something from the Snu than the BBC website?

She took nine lovers. They included her husband's son - who later died in a road accident - with whom she slept on her wedding day.

Looks like they've changed it, thanks to Ned T.'s comment.

"Sleep with" seems a inappropriate euphemism for sex in this case. It would be pretty hard to find the time to actually sleep with someone else on your wedding day.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 09:29 (twenty years ago)

Forty winks, maybe.

Matt (Matt), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 10:18 (twenty years ago)

I figure she slept with her husband's son the night BEFORE the wedding itself.

three weeks pass...
Oh, I missed the exciting climax ofthis case.

This amused me however.

'Jane Jones said she had learnt a valuable lesson that 'you should be careful what you say'.'

Or, indeed, do.
