yh ty i mean i was simply wishing to point out to dear old mordy that for all his bluster about such a space being exclusionary, it's that way by the choice of those inside it - it's a discourse that only exists because of its parameters - and that there is an identical space for parallel discussions already waiting for him, and that he really isn't excluded from anything

i phrased it archly & with helpings of priggish sarcasm, plus i have a reputation for being wrong and bad, neither of which helped, but my posting in that thread was consistently supportive of the right to share one's experiences within one's chosen parameters
