Anyone here invested in the process - then were you happy with the results?

Would anyone else consider it?

What beauty treatments do you use?

That woman in Sex & The City did it. I mean, in the show; She looked ghastly right after.

they now think that Fraxel treatments is better as there is less down time for the same effects as a peel. Peels are old hat

I am very embarrased to know about such treatment but I had interview a skin doctor at a beauty clinic last year.

Always preferred the knifey kind myself. But then I suppose I was the one applying it, not receiving.

There was a brief Dr. Zizmor subway ad campaign a few years ago which featured a picture of Dr. Z and his wife, who was wearing a very large hat. Then Mrs. Z. disappeared from the ads as mysteriously as she had arrived. Chemical peel gone wrong?

Nemo (JND), Friday, 3 March 2006 15:26 (nineteen years ago)

ive only heard bad bad things about chemical peels. why not exfoliate your face every day and wait for results?

sunny successor (katharine), Friday, 3 March 2006 15:26 (nineteen years ago)

FACE LASERS.

My dentist shares a bldg with a cosmetic surgeon, so when in for a cleaning the other day I picked up all the pamphlets the cosm surg had. They are crazy. I think I have to do a rhetoric study on it all.

i've been using olay thermal polisher thingie - the stuff that warms up on your face... it's probably psychological, but i feel like my skin looks a ton better than a month ago.
