if you have ingredients which may go off the next day if not consumed, but you were watching TV and playing computer games too much to realise the time.

it's 3:23am now by my computer's clock.

too late?

I cooked dinner at 3am once. It was chicken that may have been a bit off but it was nonetheless excellent.

The dinner/breakfast/lunch/midnight snack distinction is an outmoded abomination.

tell us your ingredients so we can devise an appropriate menu for this dinner/breakfast of yours.

Never too late to make something to eat, but the question is whether to call it dinner or not. I'd say anything past midnight is not dinner.

xpost, that's bullcrap. I say, if it's either before dawn or before you are enjoying some kind of nightlife, it's dinner. if you're coming back from said nightlife and say, stopping at a diner, that's breakfast.

What's this thing about having food that will go off tomorrow but will be ok if you eat it at 3.00am? It's already tomorrow! Your food will be no more off if you leave it until you get up.

It reminds me of gremlins. Don't eat ken! I don't want you going all gnarly and mean.

i suspect ken c is slumped over his keyboard, snoring, while his elderly groceries decompose.
