Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Friday, 3 March 2006 03:42 (nineteen years ago)

Well, I guess there's nothing left for me to do but kill myself. Or tell the hstencil toilet joke.

"What's up, broheem?"
"Nada, dude."

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Friday, 3 March 2006 03:49 (nineteen years ago)

I think it's known as a flock of broheems.

Adam Rice Lacucaracha (nordicskilla), Friday, 3 March 2006 03:51 (nineteen years ago)

I thought it was a clutch.

adam (adam), Friday, 3 March 2006 03:57 (nineteen years ago)

brohetheren.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Friday, 3 March 2006 05:28 (nineteen years ago)

I discovered recently (via Google search) that ILX is the only place where "broheems" is used regularly in the singular -- most elsewhere it's simply "broheem" (in which case "broheems" is surely the plural).

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 3 March 2006 06:17 (nineteen years ago)

broheemses!

joseph (joseph), Friday, 3 March 2006 06:24 (nineteen years ago)

Surely everything after j.lu's post is totally irrelevant (including this post)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 3 March 2006 07:03 (nineteen years ago)

That was my thought as well, Tracer. MUSTER THE BROHIRRIM!

ALLAH FROG (Mingus Dew), Friday, 3 March 2006 07:11 (nineteen years ago)

I think Jim Electrifying Mojo taking it as a handle might have confused things.

Google search also reveals the theoretical existence of Brohettes

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Friday, 3 March 2006 09:01 (nineteen years ago)

brohamitude

bobpeck (bobpeck), Friday, 3 March 2006 16:19 (nineteen years ago)

I think Jim Electrifying Mojo

I think you're confusing two posters here. There's the electric sound of jim, who is Australian, and there is Electrifying Mojo a/k/a Stormy Davis, who is American. The latter is the one who took Broheems as his moniker.

[Confusion noted on the spreadsheet.]

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 3 March 2006 16:28 (nineteen years ago)

Good point, my apologies to all concerned.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Friday, 3 March 2006 16:45 (nineteen years ago)

Michael,

It's "broheemia"

Sincerely,
Donut

Ilx has the first two google matches for "Broheems"!

I was only checking the spelling

only a 1000 search result? i thought this word was much more popular.

I am having a bastard of a time trying to find the original thread for Mark's elucidation. It was all about overly jovial geetings, and I seem to recall: Hey Big Guy, how's the day so far for you, Tiger? What can i get ya, Sporto? But search isn't having any of it.

Matt, Tuesday, 13 March 2007 23:25 (eighteen years ago)

appreciate it!
