I asked this over in 'I Love NFL', but I figured it might get more love here.

I'm an Australian who has just begun playing Gridiron. I need to find an NFL team to support! My girlfriend, a Washingtonian, is a casual Seahawks fan, but I've never been to the Pacific NW and there's the fact they just lost the Superbowl.

BLACK, GOLD, RED and GREY are a plus for uniform colours and the more notoriously brutal the team, the better.

Also, an Aussie gridiron fan ain't no worse then some cunt in a Liverpool top talking shit about Premier League when you're down the pub. Hell, talking about Gridiron plays sounds like you're describing brutal sexual assaults ('blitz', 'tight end', 'wide reciever'), which is mildly more entertaining than most sporting codes.

Do you have any favourite players? That's how I chose my teams (along with uniform stuff obviously) - we should have an NFL newbies league on ILNFL next season!

I like Mike Alstott of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints are a tempting proposition, since I love the city. I might have to go for the Falcons, lest I get left, beaten and left to die by the side of the road next time I go down to Tallapoosa,GA to see the almost-in-laws.
