what do you do when you are watching your grandkids getting conditioned by senitimental reactions to things, and your own kids won't listen to your advise? it was hard enough raising them...but now!

so it's about my visit on Sat. for curry. i'm holding her (3 mos) and bouncing her etc, and she starts making sounds, laughing, ga ga etc. , i match her sound for sound. then she starts whineing, match that sound, she gives me a very confused look "why aren't you cooing and sighing when i make that sound like others do grandpa?" conditioning phase one.

Well, she's three months old. I don't know if I'd put alot of worry in her sentimental conditioning at this juncture.
